yardy
I am going to my first city game this season on saturday and was wondering if bemmy cricket club is open for us to park? If open is there limited parking like last season and what time does it open?
redapple
It's a Cricket Club first and foremost and it's still the Cricket season so limited parking there I expect . However rain forecast for Saturday so Cricket might be off . Best bet is public transport .
Starbuck
Couldn't park there for the Wigan game and was told by the guys on the gate that parking would not be available until end of the cricket season.
WestfieldRed
Do they charge during the football season? Decent fundraiser for the club I should think.
myol'man
I would imagine that given the predicted +22k crowd this Saturday, it will be a real test for the transport and parking situation at AG. Better get there early boys and girls
Bs4Red
Just park in there and say you're there for the cricket. They can't stop you

Why use the cricket club parking when you can book a spot in advance on JustPark and not have to worry about what time you get there. Can't believe how many people still don't seem to know about this!

Starbuck
Parked for the first time in County Gate last game, charged £7 but easy to get in and out especially if heading south into Somerset after the game .

Just looked - you're right, though still a few if people don't mind a 20 minute walk. I always book at the same time as booking tickets i.e. as soon as they are released! As I said, I always do it at the same time as getting tickets - and I always do that as soon as they come out! But then I am a bit OCD about getting in there early. The just park is a good option but whenever i have looked to use it all the spaces are in right awful places and would make it difficult to get out after the game. I found the car parks over by Babcocks easier.
screech
Use the park and ride option, it saves loads of hassle getting to and from the stadium

cheesleywalksoncider
For some reason it appears that the cricket club has lost access to the land the other side of the road that runs through the land and therefore parking is limited. I park at County Gate which is good but you have to get there early as it is limited and very popular. If you are traveling from the west of Bristol the park and ride on the Portway is defintley worth considering, details can be found here - http://www.bristol-sport.co.uk/media/8649/bus-time-table-ag1.pdf

Precisely because people don't know about using justpark to rent their drive out. As it turned out someone was in their drive before the Wigan game so I just asked them and they agreed. First person I asked and £5 a game. Result. Now i just need a 'text your pint' service at a nearby pub so I can take the stress out of getting a cider in ahead of the game. RedLionLad
The Clift House Road end of Coronation Road and Ashton Road have just been resurfaced and currently have no double yellow lines on. I'm guessing it'll be ok to park on those roads providing there are no No Parking signs on display.
Scare_Man
I'll be on my bike - 25 mins gentle pootle along the river from St Annes Park, park outside the gates, happy days!
