Guest bristolbred
Thought that it was Marge Orr, the fortune teller they were after, so she could tell Tin's who to field on each game!!,

Guest bristolbred
Is Steve Lansdown still on holiday??. Think that he must be, with all this money Tins is spending, but at least we'll be getting Orr on a freebie!!, Bet Brian has found Steve's cheque book!!. Guest Nice Tie Junior
Some quotes from Burnley fans ... 1. He was poor and couldn't get in our team and was at Burnley just a month. 2. Unfair to say he was poor because only started as a sub and came on for very short spells, didn't really see enough of him to rate him, but reasonable to say he cant be fantastic if newcastle have released him, to state the obvious! Johnny Casio
We will still have to pay some kind of fee as he is under 24 or whatever the age is and usually there is a compensation type fee that has to be paid, much like the Rosenior situation. redrobin108
The guy is good, he can tackle, pass and score goals from midfield/ Most of the Yorkshire clubs were very interested in him. He got a good recommendation from the newcastle reserve team manager about the club.
Wardie
glad to see tinman getting young players in, so they have plenty of time to improve, i see the bloke as more of a cover for tinman, and not a replacement for tommy d as some have said
Claverham_Red
Sounds good See all these links for all his goals http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsD...~411256,00.html http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsD...~431294,00.html http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsD...~441207,00.html http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsD...~471798,00.html http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsD...~461492,00.html http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsD...~508503,00.html http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsD...~513817,00.html http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsD...~518865,00.html The defence cleared the ball upfield as far as Bradley Orr who was inside the centre cirlce and the midfielder hit a stunning effort first time over the head of the keeper into the top corner for what surely has to be the goal of the season Sounds like the player we need who will shoot and get into the box regularly. Cider red
At least its not another striker!!! He sounds like the kind of midfielder we need , he can score but if tommy gets injured he can play in a more defencive position. Our team is good enough for division 1 easily (looks like it on paper anyway). ...................Phillips.................. ............Carey...........Coles..........Hill Murray...........Wilkshire.....orr........tommy.........Bell ....................Miller.......Heffernan........ Thats a quality team if you ask me and anything other than promotion (even with tinns as manager) is a huge failure.

TimmerD
I spoke to a Geordie season ticket holder last night about Orr, he said that although he hasn't seen him play he has heard rave reviews about his performances in the reserves and his initial reaction was "Is he coming to you on loan?" Perhaps Sir Bobby has mixed up his players again
Guest Neo
I know the club expect him to sign. Anybody else worried we might be "counting our chickens" a tad early? Hope not!
TimmerD
Agree totally Neo. it seemed very strange to me that we announced on Thursday that we "hope" to sign Orr on Monday. Talk about alerting other clubs to his availability. Either that or Tinman must be 100% confident.
Guest JamieRed
He can't be that bad. He turned down leeds offer of a 1 year deal in favour of the 2 year deal he will sign with us. He is a player who is not affraid to get stuck in and likes to go foward and get in and around the box.
