Ourselves and Wednesday seem to have imagined it? Not just BBC, SKY are obsessed with "names" . All their highlights packages from last night just give the details of the game e.g. Bristol City 1- Leeds 0, except the Forest game which said. "Bendtner scores first goal for Forest". Why? It can only be because it's a name that some of the plastic prem fans might recognise.
awbb
It's like the FA Cup. The media thinks that the punters are only interested in the 'minnows' winning. Clearly the BBC are of the opinion that an inevitable, routine home victory by a colossus of a club wasn't worth a mention.

We aren't a name and we aren't small enough to be a fairy tale story, so we disappear into the middle. We can't complain about some of the exposure we have had recently though. SARJ
Is the editor of The Sun still that City fan bloke? If so you can count on him to give us some national newspaper coverage. I remember us being front page when we got to the play off final courtesy of that fella.
Eddie Hitler
Quote Championship: Huddersfield, Brentford, Derby and Wigan win Is an odd headline. Huddersfield is newsworthy (top), Derby also (Pearson out, and they won). But the other two? Bendtner was bound to get a mention as he is a well known player with a reputation. Though not a good one. Neutrals would be interested that he has scored an actual goal.
Monkeh
not too bothered, its always best to go under the radar, brings less focus and pressure on the players which in turn means they can't crack and we carry on getting positive results

Quote Dominic Mohan (born 26 May 1969, Bristol, England) is an English journalist, broadcaster and former editor of The Sun newspaper in London. He is now CEO of entertainment public relations company The Outside Organisation. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dominic_Mohan

Was always gutted never to have bought that rag that day - was out of the area working the next day - sadly the front page was only a special edition in certain areas
eric04
Are we really getting stroppy because we weren't mentioned in the headline on the page? There actually seems to be a full match report with quotes from a reporter who was actually at the game. http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/37414319
