allyolly
Huge credit to LJ today. Two subs at half time and the game was totally different in the 2nd half. Maybe a more cautious manager would have stuck to his original plan but fair play to Lee he recognised it wasn't working and did something about it. He's operated in that manner since day one, and it's so bloody refreshing to see.
BobBobSuperBob
Totally agree - both GON and Wilbs had significant positive impacts and Brownhill looked far more secure at RB than young Taylor Moore Also thought Joe for Bobby Reid was totally the right call at that time Well done Lee
chinapig
None of the old 'give' it 15 minutes' nonsense. LJ's approach seems to be 'if it's broke fix it'.
Fiale
It looked a good game plan, in all fairness it almost worked. Other than the goal Forest never looked like really doing anything. The problem is none of our midfield attacking players seemed to actually make the run, pass into space, pass over the defence. We resorted to small training ground triangle passing going nowhere, Tammy made some runs but no one was willing to put the ball through for him. Our pressing and defence on the whole was good, but the younger players have to take responsibility at times and try to make something happen. 'Small training ground triangles, going nowhere' was Lee's trade mark as a player, was it not? (That and warming up with a broom stick). It does not matter: if he keeps going like this, he will end up with a statue of himself outside the ground. This will be well deserved, and save the club a fortune on a statue of a full-sized manager. Uncle-COYR-TFR
...
..... another sign of a good manager is not being a totally corrupt greedy b******d. Uncle TFR
Thatwasclose
I like how he doesn't lose it on the touch line if players make mistakes, he often just claps them on and encourages
