EstoniaTallinnRed
Well done boys It was a scrappy game and the Ref didn't help to keep the game flowing, back in the play off zone again. Bring on Hull now. COYRs Quote Link to comment

Red Exile
Well, that was indeed scrappy. Great result though...had the luck that seemed to desert us at QPR. Edited October 22, 2016 by Red Exile Quote Link to comment

old_eastender
Missed Reid's runs from midfield today (even if he doesn't always manage to finish). Joe.B looked good when coming on for last 15 mins, Korey played well which is a great plus point. Phew! Edited October 22, 2016 by old_eastender 1 Quote Link to comment
Frenchay Red
Clean sheet and ugly win. That'll do me. Midnight in Perth so time for some zzz 2 Quote Link to comment
Esmond Million's Bung
Probably what was needed an ugly win but plenty to work on this week. The final pass, crosses and as great a player as Tomlin is he really does give the ball away far too often in and around the centre circle. Just to add to the Freeman debate he has the look of a player that has the football version of dartsitis, he seems incapable of releasing the ball at the correct time and that delay is costing him. Charliesboots
Can't deny it's a sweet victory in what was a pretty poor game. Not getting carried away with our position in the table for me it's flattering to how we've performed over the last couple of games; we really have lots more to do however a win won't do any harm to the players confidence and gives them a better footing to build from. 1 Quote Link to comment

Murraysrightplum
Excellent win to steady the ship. Need to build confidence and get some performances going. Can't help but think we are one or two key players away still so maybe some action in Jan if we are still in the mix... Quote Link to comment
Wanderingred
Amazing that a single kick of the ball has made life so sweet again! Wilbraham you are the toast of my weekend! 4 Quote Link to comment
samo II
Good ol' Wilbs bailing us out, thanks to a bit of quality from Tomlin. Also nice for Smith to get a chunk of minutes under his belt, and that we've somehow stayed inside the top 6, despite only getting three points in three games. A bit of a 'free hit' against what is looking like a out-of-form Hull team on Tuesday, which could be a bit of a confidence boost if we do get something, but a few tough league fixtures coming up. Will need strong performances in our next three matches (Barnsley, Brighton and Birmingham) to get anything, so hope this helps lift us. COYR Quote Link to comment
Unan
I must've watched a different game to some.. pretty dominant in the second half, few half chances for Blackburn but that was it. Tomlin was a different level to anyone on the pitch, incredible range of passing and perfect long & cross field pass for Wilbs goal. Quote Link to comment
joe jordans teeth
Korey back and a clean sheet to boot, not saying it's related but that'll do us Quote Link to comment
Dan Robin
GET IN! Beating Rovers is always a good thing, isn't it?!? I was able to watch only the 2nd half, and I found the match quite balanced: IMO, Magnusson,Tomlin and Wilbs played really well, whereas Emnes and the two central defenders were the main protagonists for Blackburn. Red Exile
Good for Geoff for taking on that regular Radio Bristol misery guts Ian...time to drop him from his roster of callers. Apparently it was an appalling game of football...with which Geoff disagreed. Knows it all this chap Ian...amazed he's not managing the club... 1 Quote Link to comment

Freeman was frustrating as had several chances to take the ball on the outside of his man and every time turned inside into congestion. However, at least he kept showing for the ball and trying to make something happen. Paterson was a virtual spectator, just like he was at Cardiff. Quote Link to comment

Agreed and on 55 minutes had probably the games best chance and failed to hit the target. Quote Link to comment

No it wasn't that one at all, that was about 65/70 minutes, this one on 55 minutes he had a clear view of goal, time and no defenders in front of him and he blazed it over. 1 Quote Link to comment

He started well in first couple of games, but maybe last two have shown why Forest were happy to let him go. Quote Link to comment
eardun
Joe looked really good when he came on, even playing on the right wing. For me, he should be starting left midfield as he's so great going forward; let him drop back to left back in his 30s! Freeman, O'Dowda and Paterson can then fight it out for right midfield or be cover for Tomlin and Bryan. 3 Quote Link to comment
