On a day where the papers and sports websites are again focused on the more negative side of football given the events at West Ham last night, it's great to see a story on the good that fans can do...

Also a link on that page to an article about how Coventry, Blackpool and Charlton are suffering inept or corrupt owners.

Praise be that we have Steve Lansdown and his family running our Club.

Indeed.  I was reading their article on Bury too.  Three winding up orders, five mortgages on the stadium and the parent company being dissolved - it sounds like an absolute disaster waiting to happen...

The fit and proper test sounds weighty but in practice it's entirely useless.

If someone wants to sell a club to a crook because they're offering the most money then they will do so.

There are several club owners out there that I wouldn't wish upon Rovers!

Ha! That might explain the car I was driving behind yesterday with a massive St Pauli skull & crossbones motif across the back window!
