Dredd
How many long balls launched up to Tammy tonight? Bread and butter to their centre backs, we'd all be more than happy if any opposition did that to AF and HM all game. We only looked like getting anything out of a long ball once Wilbs came on. We have some really talented footballers and we've taken some teams apart this season playing it around, shifting the play, playing with width and getting balls in to TA around that 6 yard box where we know how deadly he is. It could be that Brighton were just that organised that we didn't have much other choice but ultimately all we kept doing was giving the ball back to Brighton in launching it. nickolas
See my post elsewhere on another thread. Hoof ball as we had too many lazy players with zero movement leaving no passes on = hoofball. Why LJ cant see it is beyond me.
shelts
Too many Cryuff turns, too many passes sideways or back . No crosses whipped in as we only Tammy attacking.
t_b
Brighton played it direct and played it quick. They were 2-0 and their keeper was taking long punts to their CFs whilst we were resetting constantly. It's just they had two players (including Baldock!) who would win the ball or find the space and lay it off. We're so pedestrian with numbers behind the ball that we never have any options going forward so end up hoofing it aimlessly.
