The chap in there has a huge wooden drawer of old British pre-decimal coinage, some of it dating back to Victoria's reign. Only a few pence to buy off him on a coin by coin basis and a nice bit of history to own. Thanks for that, never heard of it before but a quick Google turns up some interesting positive reviews of 'Potters Antiques & Coins' ... will be popping in there sometime soon for sure... its been years probably since I've browsed an interesting non-mainstream shop, really fancy a bit of quirky ... (St Nicks is probably about as 'off piste' shopping wise as I've ventured in recent years) .... So it looks like its going to be 'in for a penny in for a pound' (literally) for me, ... as the saying goes!
