Admin Maesknoll Red Posted November 19, 2016 Admin Report Share Posted November 19, 2016 Transit Connect 08. TDCi 110PS. Been running fine, but in the last two weeks it has played up 3 mornings. Starts first turn of the key as normal, then cuts out, it can take up to 2 or 3 minutes of cranking (bursts not continual) to get it running again, once it's running its fine. Starts fine after being shut down for short periods, even all day, it's just overnight that is causing the issue. No fault lights, I haven't stuck the diagnostic reader on it yet, but I will Monday. To me it seems like an air leak, can't see any fuel leaking out, but either the fuel is returning to tank from the supply line or there is air being drawn in once it's shut down. I'm just hoping someone who works on these things regularly can tell me there is a common fault that is cheap and cheerful to fix. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
