Can you please inform us of the actual cost of the Academy since it's inception. This would be the net cost, less grants-sponsorship, etc. Can you also advise which players, currently in the first team squad or those that have been sold, were genuine Academy products. By genuine, I exclude Marvin & Aaron Brown (Football in the Community YTS Sceme), Leroy Lita & Simon Clist who signed when exited by Chelsea & Tottenham. My feeling is that the costs vastly outweigh the benefits and a more fruitful policy would be to sign the "rejects" or reserves from Premier Division Clubs.
