old_eastender
Fielding - 4 - made 3 very good saves, but gave away (with Smith) winner and lucky not to have been sent off for handball incident. Matthews - 6 - Up against tricky opponent, thought he did well once he got to grips with him. Flint - 7- nothing to fault defensively, setup our goal. Maggers - 6 - Did ok, but not as assured on the ball with Huddersfield pressing Goldbourne - 6 - same as maggers. Pack - 3 - very poor, lack of pace badly exposed by Huddersfield's more mobile midfielders. Culpable for first goal. Smith - 4 - A shadow of the player he was at his best, for 2nd time since returning had a big hand in us conceding a goal. Freeman - 6 - Looked decent, but had to be subbed as was otherwise likely to see red. Tomlin - 4 - very poor, contributed little. Wilbs - 6 - Did ok, usual committed performance Tammy - 7 - Scored, didn't have much service to do much else. subs: Reid - 8 - looked out best player when he came on, yes over hit one cross after great steal, but showed the energy and invention we had been badly missing. GON - 3 - awful, sloppy passing, seems to have really lost his early season good form. Bryan - 6 - did ok manager: 4 - should have started Reid, instead of obsessing with 2 holding midfielders, should have bought Engval on not GON.
