A football update

As things change in football so quickly these days I thought I would update you (City and wider football) -

1. Lee Johnson is no longer the future of BCFC (please be mindful that this changes immediately in the event that City have 4 or 6 extra points by Saturday evening).

2. 4-4-2 is no longer a sensible formation to play (again please be mindful that this changes immediately in the event City win and play 4-4-2 in either game Tuesday or Saturday).

3. Pep Guardiola is an awful manager. He has been found out in the Premiership and Tony Pulis is a better tactician (Pep becomes the greatest manager of all time should City win the Premiership or Champions league this season).

4. Jose Mourinho is no better than David Moyes as a manager (this changes as soon as United get back into the top four).

5. Harry Kane is no better than a pub striker (he becomes world class the next time he scores a brace).

6. Jamie Vardy is world class (he was a pub striker before the weekend).

7. Arsene Wenger is absolutely the right man to lead Arsenal to glory, those thousands of Gooners calling for him to be sacked have 'disappeared' (for the time being).

finally,

7. Gareth Southgate is the obvious choice as England manager, bright young coach, success with Under 21s, always wanted an Englishman etc etc (becomes nobodies first choice, an uninspired appointment, worst England manager ever etc as soon as England lose a game).
