Sack Lee... Mark Ashton's time is up, Steve L has no clue etc etc

The last few months have been poor - that's a given, that said we have to many fans with instant expectations that were not helped by the impressive start to the season.

Our team is young we are the envy of several championship clubs with some of the players we have bought for the future. The balance is not quite right yet and hopefully January will close some of that gap.  It won't close it all, we are Bristol City not Man City.

As has been said on many occasions this is a long term project and one that has so far built a bloody impressive stadium, got us a future England international on loan for the season, bought a flair player from the prem. Patience.

Some realism people. We won't go up we won't go down we will build

We may well build, but do we have an architecturally sound design for a successful football team? Do the foundations need strengthening? How do we stop it from leaking goals?

We wouldn't be the first club to build a great stadium but screw up the most important thing which is developing a winning team on the pitch.

I have no doubt that Steve Lansdown will give Little Lee time but both of them know that we have stay up and ideally finish higher than last season. At the moment it's not looking promising that the second will be achieved, and suggests that we will flirt with the relegation battle for some time to come.

Not sure this bit could be classed as "realism"?

If we hadn't have had such a decent start we'd be ****** and no way would we have offered LJ a new contract otherwise.

Not sure who these players are that are the envy of other championship clubs are, either, unless you mean the one that Chelsea own?

I am in favour of giving LJ more time but if results continue in the same vein as the last nine I will be in a small minority..

Why do we have to settle for this 'realism'?

Huddersfield and Fulham finished below us last season and are now 4th and 7th. Reading finished level with us and are 3rd. Barnsley are 9th in their first season. No offence to Barnsley supporters but I mean it's Barnsley ffs??? How much have they spent on their team?
