Someone at the council has made a massive cock up here, thinking that the football would automatically be on the Saturday, and hasn't checked the dates. Every travel option will be reviewed and looked at. Most people who work in planning can have fantastic plans which are detailed and in depth, but at the end of the day often it is a case of fingers crossed and hope that everything goes well. Hopefully they'll make this clash an annual event .... then the powers that be will recognise the sense in reinstating a rail link for an Ashton Gate Station.. in the meantime Bristol's traditional transport chaos prevails, (next up The Arena -if it ever gets built of course) Good luck with this one Julie 'may the force be with you' - and a Happy New Year to you and most of 'your lot'.. from, 'most of our lot'

May I take this opportunity to wish everyone a very happy new year, and thank you all for a reasonably trouble free time on this forum! See you all Monday. Bristol Rob
Bonkers decision. Just move the 10k, it'll be the most effective, cheapest and logical way of avoiding a problem.

Davefevs
Surely they'll be running the 10k, not driving it? In fact, they'll do it on feet quicker than in car
