SL is an astute businessman and has probably put pen to many contracts over the years which I am sure have clauses in there which protect his arse if things go wrong. In Lees contract there may well be details written which make it subject to performance, results, league position......and if not, there should have been! So SL may have to shell out more of HIS OWN dosh if he decides the game is up. So what? So he buys a player for £1million or whatever who turns out a wrong'un. So what- it's football and you win some decisions and you lose some. If Lee was doing great then everyone would think it was an inspired decision. Its not our money, but i think your naive to think the compo will be coming directly out of the Lansdown family's pot of gold either..
