The regular media spunkfest over Manchester Utd.

I have to say my dislike of Manu has nothing to do with there success.

It goes back to the late 60s early 70s.

Ever wanted both teams to loose ?

Once had the pleasure of watching the gas play manu. Good Friday 74. Fantastic result, 1/1!!!

What a poser! Maybe a humungous flying saucer crashes onto Yeastville, and obliterates the whole sorry edifice!

Oh for that.

The day after the Rovers game we were home to Norwich.

Came up from Devon with a couple of mates for the Easter weekend and met the Newton Abbot branch of manu in a bozzer.

New a lot of lads through local football and ended up in their end at Eastville

A great weekend clubbing spoiled by our 1/0 defeat home to Norwich.

Didn't Man Utd disrespect the competion a few years ago?

and said we don't to be included in the FA Cup and went off to the far east instead?

That was the year their FA cup tie wasn't shown live, instead their World Club Game v Tokyo paper folders XI was shown live instead.

To be fair to United on this one, they were pressured by the FA to withdraw, on the basis that competing in the FIFA World Club Championship would benefit the FA in winning the their bid to host the 2006 world cup. As we know, it all worked out for the best.
