Lack of Action Man
For me, one of the key errors that enabled Cardiff to swing the game back in their favour was why at 2-1 were our wing backs still pressed into a very advanced position. The space behind them was opening up when we should have been looking to revert to 5-3-2 for 5 to 10 minutes to soak up pressure and try to control the tempo when we had the ball. We have seen this tactical error before, under SC the wing backs were pressed far too high up the pitch! 3-5-2 failed under SC because teams soaked up our attacks and exploited the space behind our stupidly advanced wing backs on the counter. The same, to an extent, is happening now. If LJ is setting the team up to accommodate both Little and Bryan (despite his excellent goal) as wing backs then he is destined to fail (IMO).
