Yes very good point, I suppose with all the talk of DNA, formations, young players, transfers etc etc have we improved from what we had at our disposal when we were promoted ?

No,but I suspect our wage bill is higher

Just what we don't need in division 3 - a squad that is oversized, overpaid, and under performing

Was n't it Gary Johnson who told the players to imagine it was their Granny in goal ( might be an idea as a replacement for Fielding , just  a thought) so that they would protect her at all costs ?

I maintain that our club is too soft and too nice , maybe the new boys are a bit more in the warrior mould but other than that it's ' After you Claude ' . They don't want to damage their good looks ( Hordur, Sorry mate you're too pretty for a centre back ) or ruin their hair dos.

Who puts their body on the line for Bristol City ?

The players are cosseted and wrapped up in cotton wool against the realities of life .

The trip with Cotts to Botswana seemed to open some of the player's eyes but now with the Championship , the lovely new stand etc they seem to have forgotten.

Lovely bunch of lads , currently being shafted by everyone in the game . Stand up for yourselves , fight for the right to be a professional footballer in the toughest of Leagues or let others take your place , because they surely will .

Orr. Carey. McCoombe. McAllister.

Little. Flint. Magnusson. Bryan.

Totally agree about being being too nice. The top back four from a previous post is testament to that.

But has the game changed that much with regard to tackling in that short time...... not so sure it has
