SuperDziek
Years ago, you could rely on the board coming out and giving their absolute backing to a manager on a poor run of results. Only for them to be sacked in the following days. Nowadays, it doesn't really seem to happen. i confess to not listening to the Mark Ashton interview but haven't seen any sound bytes to the this effect. Isn't it time for SL, JL or whoever to come out and say they have the utmost confidence in Lee and that they have the faith in him turning this poor run of form around? at least then, we could sleep easy knowing the end is nigh! keflav
Agreed the lack of anything coming from anyone else in the club speaks volumes to me no one in the club has the balls to do the right thing... It's obvious Lee is not the man for the job (or the man SL thought he was), in any other team in the country he would have been sacked by now... instead we get the same nonsense coming from Lee after every lose... The club needs to step up and make the right decision and say thanks Lee but your time is up don't embarrass the club any further...
Tom Fleuriot
Mark Ashton said in his interview about three (?) matches ago: "we need to start winning". I took that interview to be the equivalent to a vote of confidence.
