harvey54 Posted February 5, 2017 Report Share Posted February 5, 2017 The money that this club has spent off the field in the last few years has been phenomenal and is testament to the ambition of the chairman/owner and the board. Now it's time to back up that ambition with the sacking of our current head coach and the hiring of an experienced, high profile manager proven at Championship level. Apart from one decent season under Cotts the last few managerial appoitments have been questionable to say the least and have shown litle evidence that the board are capable of taking this club to the next level with their approach of hiring unproven managers/coaches in the Championship. The current managers are unemployed: Alan Pardew, Mike Phelan, Nigel Pearson, Gary Rowett The hiring of any of these would be a considerable statement about the ambition of the club to fulfil its potential. Lee Johnson has to go now. After the next 4 league games we could be in a relegation position and have been on the end of some hammerings the way we are playing. The time for change is now...........
