And Its Smith
52 points is definitely safe. 20 points from 16 games. 5 wins, 5 draws, 6 defeats. Alex_BCFC
I doubt it will be as high as 52 - current ppg suggests around 45/46. Even QPR are heading for around 50 points and are 5 points clear currently.

Current form is last 6 games. 5 points from those 6 isn't it? So we would get very close to what I think we need which is 47 points. Hopefully the losing streak is over too... St Aldhelms Red
Hopefully we will be ok, but, I look at current form as the last 15 games and we've won 1. As I said, with that form we will get no where near.

Usually bottom teams get better results near end of the season so I'm saying 50/51. Thus we need 52 to be sure.

I'll go along with the 47 as posted the other day - 52 is guarenteed safety but we won't need that many! I do think that Blackburn might get above Burton (and us though). I'm hopeful Forest may to continue to collapse...

ChippenhamRed
I don't see much value in putting artificial points targets on the season and then judging our likely survival on whether we reach that total or not. Surely a more valid exercise would be to predict our results and those of our relegation rivals and see where that leaves us.

Everyone is guessing at results, if predicting results was as easy as others say, then Ladbrokes and Willam Hill would have gone bankrupt 50 years ago!!!
