Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but .... Currently we can argue we are not getting the ball running for us, the luck is not going our way, decisions are going against us at key moments! Of Couse occasionally we do need the ball to run for us or maybe a decision to go our way to help us along but not through the lions share of the season, we create the outcome of football matches through good performance! No doubt we had a good go yesterday once we conceded when we had nothing to loose, but this is the point isn't it, when we are behind we will be all hands to pump but the reality is this other teams can get in front and hold leads we can not and that is simply built into our game for what ever reason. The key point now is have we got what it takes to turn this around. Temperament and winning mentality are states of mind that some are born with and others pretend to have. Sorry to say excuses don't cut it results do and you only have to look else where in this league to see managers who have gone to clubs in turmoil and managed to turn things around without the large tin of coffers!  Some have got it some need to learn it fast!

Could not agree more. Simple we do not have the temperament to be serious contenders in this league and the results back this up. FACT!

Unlucky ?

To lose two or three games to fluke goals, sendings off, injuries to key players etc could be considered as ' unlucky ' but the table shows that we are not just ' unlucky ' but badly coached .

Wake up Steve Lansdown .

It's staring you in the face.

Bring in a coach who can organise a team of very talented players and secure our future.

We are sleep walking to relegation.

I take it what you mean is LJ is doing an admirable job in the face of adversity and we should all support him?

Didn't Flint handle the ball for a nailed on penalty that was not given?, is that luck?.

Yes. Funny how that doesn't get a mention post match... funny how now we're "unlucky" but when getting results better than our performances at the start of the season we weren't "lucky"...

It's not luck that sees you struggle or get relegated over the course of a whole season. Though you will have both good and bad luck along the way, during games, game to game or in runs of games.

Managers talking about bad luck is just a diversion.

Indeed we are on course to be the unluckiest team ever to be relegated.

The evidence is clear, we keep playing teams that we have no chance of beating, only losing by the odd goal, players and their stupid mistakes and all of the referees hate us, but the manager who has spent a fortune and certainly far more than teams that apparently are better than us and keeps tinkering with tactics and selections and freezes players out for bizarre reasons is beyond criticism, god help us.

I have just seen the highlights and:-

Goal 1 got caught out by a quick free kick, that is unacceptable but oh so typical, couldn't see the trip or push clearly.

Goal 2 Golbourne might as well not have there for all the good that he did in the build up to the goal, the deflection was unfortunate but the damage had already been done imo. if our manager truly believes that Magnusson can do no better than the hapless Golbourne we are well and truly screwed.

There is a really great chance for Bryan in the 2nd half and he decides to caress the ball instead of putting his boot through it, my missus could have hit harder and she has 2 knee replacement with one knee with less than 15% flexion.

With regards to Leeds having just watched the highlights and almost all of their opportunities came from out wide again, we honestly can't put it down to bad luck all of the time, despite the deflection they had numerous chances, all coming from width and again our defence was sleeping on the first. It's the lack of awareness and alertness that is frustrating me. We seem to be creating plenty of opportunities so if we could actually defend we'd probably see less panicing up front to convert as the pressure wouldn't be so high.

In our last 12 leagues games the ONLY clean sheet we've had was against Rotherham, a team with a goal difference of -38! I know a lot of people want us to stick with Johnson because we play good football in patches and you can see the potential of our squad BUT since this bad run of form we can't defend. Now if the issue lies with his coaching defensively then for the love of god let's employ a new coach, not a head coach, just a defensive coach with good championship experience who can help turn it around because if we can't improve our defensive record then it will ultimately be the reason we go back to league one.
