RUSSEL85
Very good odds seeing as SkyBet has us at 11/2, and online are often more competitive.
Peter O Hanraha-hanrahan
Having my Saturday ruined again is bad enough without flushing my hard earned cash down the bog in the process. So, no....I don't think I'm tempted by a piece of that action. Bet365 are offering 8/1 that Newcastle will win by 4+ clear goals.
ashton_fan
7-1 is good odds in a 3-horse race. Newcastle fans think Rafa might rest a few for our game, if he does that it might let us in with a chance. There won't be the pressure on the players like there was on Wednesday, I predict we will play much better although we'll probably still lose. BS4 on Tour...
Talking of betting, I loved the old Jasper Carrott gag about Birmingham City, he said "at the first home game I bought a lucky dip Golden Goal ticket which basically predicts the time of the first goal...I opened it and it said 'October'..." Yeah one of my favourites as well, I also love his description of going to Man Utd with his mates and ending up in the home end and trying to keep one of his mates quiet when they scored! MrBibs
Surely the straightforward bet is backing Newcastle to win at 1/2? If we lost to Fulham, Ipswich, Wolves, Cardiff, Reading etc etc etc can't see a reason not to back them for 50 per cent profit. Looks a decent price when Chelsea are 1/5 to beat an improving Swansea imo

miketh2nd
After the line ups were announced I put a few quid on city to win and Wilbs to score first.... Although I admit to being suprised as everyone else with the team. So maybe it was my fault we drew, happy with the point all the same. rarely put a bet on, next time I won't bet on city
