I've just watched the program & found it intriguing, where he came from as a player to how he came about as a coach.

He certainly never had it handed on a plate for him but had a clear vision on how the game should be played (both as a player & a coach) & he certainly seemed to do what he had to do to learn from the very beginning.

To get given the Barcelona job on the back of only ever being a coach at Barca 'B was a big step up for the man himself & a massive risk for a club of the size of Barcelona!! He came from only ever coaching in the 3rd tier of Spanish football to being in charge of one of the biggest clubs in the world!!

He went from coaching reserve / youth team players with none or very little reputation to coaching players who had the reputations of being the worlds best & he had a belief in his own abilities to do so!!

Things didn't start particularly well with Barcelona's main team with supporters questioning his appointment but he managed to get his philosophies across to his players & they managed to change the way football was played throughout the world & obtained success that even Barcelona had never seen before.

He left Barcelona as a player & a coach on his own accord, when he felt he had done all he could & has gone on to try & prove himself in other countries with success again.

To hear the views of players & coaches that he has worked with & how highly he is regarded was very good & all without the man himself blowing his own trumpet.
