Said that the definition of insanity was doing the same thing over and over again and expecting to get the same results.

So who's most insane? Lansdown or LJ?

One has been responsible for what many say is the worst run of results in many years.

The other has allowed and continues to allow that to happen. He's also been responsible for a strategy of hiring and firing and what some might say have been the worst managerial appointments in living memory.

Are either of them Albert?

Looking at Lansdown, I wouldn't say it's doing the same thing expecting different results necessarily.

We've tried a number of different approaches in this league..

We've tried young and upcoming managers (McInnes, LJ)

Seasoned and successful managers (Coppell)

Managers with experience (O'Driscoll, Cotterill)

We've had times where we've made "marquee" signings (Stewart, Bridges, Trundle, James), times where we've signed seasoned players on big wages (Damion Stewart, Kilkenny, Nicky Hunt), times when we've tried to cut the cloth drastically (Under Millen and McInnes), times when we've spent big (Now), times when we haven't backed the targets of the manager (Cotterill upon promotion)...

We've had "the four pillars", we've had "Bristol Sport".. We've had soundbites about being reluctant to sign foreign players again after Styvar and Saborio.. and times when we've signed a large amount of foreign players (Now with Hegeler, Djuric and Giefer)

I think the running theme isn't necessarily "doing the same thing over and over again and expecting to get the same results" but actually the opposite. Rapidly changing our strategy and having no real consistency of approach.
