CotswoldRed
Is there anyone here that has any idea where relegation will leave us with Financial Fair Play? Surely Lansdown's money won't count for a huge amount and we'll be saddled with some very expensive contracts. Relegation brings a reduction in all sorts of revenue but the way the club have managed the last 5 months I worry a lot of people will be turned away for at least a season, especially if LJ is about. On a separate point I'd rather have the old Ashton Gate with 14000 than the new one. Sausage in the Albert Hall.
Mr Popodopolous
I was wondering this too and was glad someone made this thread. Probably a bit of a firesale of the saleable assets and the costlier players who we can flog, be they on loan or sold- look to keep some of the cheaper, younger players. (Vyner? Moore? Reid? O'Dowda?) and a mix of young loanees who aren't TOO costly, the players from our development squad and some League One experienced players and perhaps the odd Championship player on the way down. That MIGHT make us compliant with FFP.
Guest
http://www.financialfairplay.co.uk/scmp.php bit long winded, but I think SL can spend as much as he wants?
