City , IMHO, have the potential to attract nearly any coach they want and a good majority players as well. If Lansdown really wanted a top top coach he could pay him what he wanted and sell him the club and it's potential. Sadly ,we all know that SL won't pay . This is said a lot but I'm not actually sure it's true. I can't find this seasons records but we actually have the highest wages as a proportion of turnover in the league (last season it's was at 190%!). For context - Barnsley 85%, Brighton 90%, the next closest are Cardiff 189%, Middlesborough 146% and Hull 152%. This suggests that he massively subsidises wages and that a bigger issue is our lack of turnover. (obviously this will be helped a lot this season by Kodjia's sale).
