ThOmO
As Steve is a business man, he's well aware of the business scales of Risk v Reward. So let's look at the sacking option, financially, the risk is paying up a 3 year contract at guessing 300k a year. So on these figures 900k .The reward will be potentially 3000 season ticket holders renewing behind a new united club x average 360 , therefore just under 1.1 million. Therefore on this balance the reward outweighs the risk Now let's look at the emotional risk v reward , keep LJ and lose all respect of the suppoter base completely and for many years, nose dive to div 1, empty stadium - dark days and 5 mill missing in TV money Or the reward of changing to a manager like pardew, on a 7 figure bonus to keep us up, regain the respect of the supporters , unite the club, and hopefully avoid the drop, a been there done it manager, who could take us to the next level, and can deal with overpaid stars and has respect, doesn't demand it. Just a thought when the plug hole is spinning.
