They'd better be careful if MA is the next scapegoat!

With Pembo being the first casualty in the protection of Teflon Junior Johnson what price the strangely subdued Mark Ashton being next.

LJ's pre-Preston comment about "this being the scenario you get when you buy young players .... I bought into that philosophy when I arrived" is a further example of all of this not being his fault and for me deflects blame towards Ashton.

Now when someone makes a claim, withdraws it and then even offers to pay some of the other party's costs suggests to me that when Watford FC's legal advisors were preparing to contest the action they came up with something on MA that brought about a massive climb down by him,

Probably nothing in it as I am sure City did their due diligence on him when making the appointment?
