In an ideal lovely world it would be QPR...us staying up and Hollowhead taking them down on the last day! I would love that, would be a happy happy final whistle at AG- I remember 2000 v Preston when his Rovers slid out of the playoffs on the last day after being top with a month left or something and I also recall 2008 his Leicester he took down on the last day! So I HOPE for that scenario. Realistically, wouldn't surprise me if Forest slip out. Their run in is the hardest - local derby (a), playoff team (h) and then one of the divisions form teams (yes, really!) Their form is bad, and with their goal difference Blackburn just need to match their points tally. With their home game being against Villa... I think Brum will absolutely need a win at Ashton on the last day, as can see Blackburn being level on points at that stage, with a draw at Brentford for them possible. Mr Popodopolous Posted April 18, 2017 Report Share Posted April 18, 2017 Hard to say how results will go, you get weird results at this stage usually, as sides fight and the stakes are ever higher/ Blackburn beating Villa- a Villa whose big remaining objective this season is pushing Birmingham closer to the drop, would be no huge surprise. Wolves well who knows they have a much poorer home record than away record, Brentford away well they should lose that but likewise Brentford have 2 West London derbies left, after that will they care especially?
