He was exactly what Plymouth wanted early in the season: big strong striker to give them an option against their existing lightweight ones when Plymouth were struggling at that stage.

Then he was injured and out for ages and during that time Plymouth hit an (unrelated) run of form so when he was back to being available later in the season the manager didn't want to muck about with a successful squad.

The Plymouth fans I know rated him so they could well want him back on loan in L1 next season.

He's obviously made enormous progress this season then...I saw in a preseason match at Hungerford where he looked almost comically clumsy and a million miles off our first team...big chap though. Good for him...clearly took his chance.

Agree. I felt the same at Yeovil. In fact, when I saw him warming up I was wondering if he was an ageing member of the coaching team, because he's so big I thought he was an overweight 40 year old.

Maybe someone will see him as a younger version of the "beast" , there is certainly a career for players like him in the lower leagues, look at Akinde.
