Natchfever
I could see Wall taking umbrage as the article was a little provocative (to them). Expect an assault on the Lions next season as a thank you.
pillred
nice gesture, the three lions pub is awarding the plaque stolen from the millwall team coach more than twenty years ago.to the brave millwall fan who confronted the terrorists in London

Red Army 75
The man doesn't need a Millwall sign . He needs a recommendation of bravery. Fair play to Sean though I think it's a great way of saying. Respect from Bristol City fans.

pongo88
I'm a bit disappointed by the Millwall forum response. If the situation was reversed I'm sure OTIB would recognise the spirit in which the offer was made.

cityironman
They can't be seen to be taking anything in good faith/humour as it will be seen as them letting their guard down on their 'wellard' image.....god forbid!!

Club and Country
Disappointed and surprised by that from millwall would off thought in the 'lad' culture of football both clubs would have respect for each other

Great gesture but they could well see it as some form of challenge now that they're back in the big boys' division.... Bet the various police forces are well chuffed that Leeds, Birmingham, Cardiff and Millwall are in the same div....!

BobbyC
Ungrateful lot. Just like when we made them climb out the EE or when the Transit van ploughed into them in East st. (accidentally of course). All that sick pay they could claim and they moaned!
MC RISK77
Prefer to applaud the guy for extreme bravery...love how millwall fans bought him a learn how to run book.. handing back a plaque gathered at an event most of us never witnessed is fun but maybe a cheap plug. fair play to all involved but millwall not impressed and feels unnecessary

Olé
Ignore some forum posts, quite honestly the Millwall you see on the internet is nothing like the local Millwall. I know I've posted on here before about this and I'm typing this right now from the Five Bells, one of the pubs near the Den that they all go, but I've been amazed in three years around here what a class lot they are. Self depreciating, respect for City and in my local just up the road will look out for our results and ask after us. Those I spoke to had seen the gesture by Three Lions and appreciated the respect. I get bus yards from where London Bridge terrorists were shot, direct to outside the Five Bells. This bloke who fought back has legendary status and class act to acknowledge it. Coppello
Posted this on another thread but I work on the street in which the incident happened last weekend. On the way home yesterday I walked past the fantastic tribute and flowers and messages which has been left at the foot of the bridge. I was amazed to see that this was one of only two flags hanging at the memorial:
