It's a bit like the US Football and Basketball drafts.  The early pre-season is over, you assess what you've got, and then you look at the next lot.

That's the problem with our local players - we either give them too long or we overly criticise them.  There's no middle ground.  You're right, we'd be dead happy if he was a new signing.
