From a pure asset valuation perspective, I guess it immediately increases Diedhiou's valuation by a c. 5-10% premium assuming that we paid for him without knowledge of this change - as we've basically suddenly acquired 1-2 months more footballer in every 24 months, as well as reduced risk of in-season injury. Even though international football can be a drag at times, the gaps between the World Cup and the Euros are far more boring than a summer without football. I think it's one of those topics that is interesting to know and read, but wouldn't necessarily draw comment. I agree that it's great for us and possibly opens up that market for us even more, if the thought of missing a player for two months is no longer an issue.
