GrahamC Posted July 28, 2017 Posted July 28, 2017 Ideal move, big step up from Bath City & very close to home. Big chance for him to show what he can do.
redcherryberry Posted July 28, 2017 Posted July 28, 2017 Considering he hardly featured for Torquay last season this is a excellent move for him, hope he does well.
Ska Junkie Posted July 28, 2017 Posted July 28, 2017 Big test for the lad and I hope it goes well for him. Decent move by City.
Fat Cigar Posted July 28, 2017 Posted July 28, 2017 Correct me if I'm wrong, but interesting how most (if not all) our players we send out on loan join struggling clubs in lower divisions. Maybe the rationale is that if they can succeed in a poor side, stands them in good stead. Realistically, gives you an indication of our standing as a club. Start competing for play-off spots and expect our youngsters to join bigger League 1 or 2 clubs. You'd think.

Live at home, pay the bridge toll and i expect can train with City when we decide we want him to too.
Red Army 75 Posted July 28, 2017 Posted July 28, 2017 Be very interesting to see how he gets on . Another step up . Be keeping an eye on this one
'Orns Posted July 28, 2017 Posted July 28, 2017 What a move for him - massive step up, will be interesting to see how he goes
RUSSEL85 Posted July 28, 2017 Posted July 28, 2017 Excellent move for the lad, i think we will all be keeping our eye on him to see how he manages in the football league.
YorkshireSection Posted July 28, 2017 Posted July 28, 2017 Seems like a goo move for all involved, Newport just about survived last season. Here's hoping that he can get himself some excellent experience and a bunch of goals.
Lanterne Rouge Posted July 28, 2017 Posted July 28, 2017 The next logical step for him IMO. Tear it up over there Shawn
TRL Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 Wait for the Shawn the sheep jokes now he is in the land of the viet taff
Gert Mare Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 Will be a good test for him at Newport isnit butt?

BlokeCDP Posted August 1, 2017 Posted August 1, 2017 Let's hope David Pipe doesn't stick one on him in training. One of our old youngsters is there with them as well (Marlon Jackson). Netted a few times in pre-season as has Nouble. Competition for places likely.
