Red Homer Posted August 9, 2017 Posted August 9, 2017 As I wasn't at the game last night, could anyone confirm whether the BBC site is correct and there were indeed no fouls? Was the game played in a 'clean' manner or did the ref let things go? Also, can anyone remember the last time a match was played with no fouls?
Meh Posted August 9, 2017 Posted August 9, 2017 Plenty of fouls - only way Plymouth could stop our progress in first half edit - all the stats look made up - 0 shots for Plymouth and none on target? They hit the crossbar and Fielding saved a decent header right on the line in a 5 minute spell shortly after we went 3 up !!
AJgEEZa Posted August 9, 2017 Posted August 9, 2017 Incorrect, there were several including a yellow card for Plymouth.
WolfOfWestStreet Posted August 9, 2017 Posted August 9, 2017 More likely the bbc couldn't be bothered to get the data for an article no one will read

AJgEEZa Posted August 9, 2017 Posted August 9, 2017 There was definitely a yellow card for a Plymouth player. A professional foul where we were breaking. He took one for the team.
TMWANG50 Posted August 9, 2017 Posted August 9, 2017 no injury time in the second half either - think the ref was a Plymouth fan

Lrrr Posted August 9, 2017 Posted August 9, 2017 I didn't notice a yellow card, noted a few times how generous he was being as in a league game there would have been 3 or 4 yellows.

I certainly don't remember a single booking and all the match reports seem to back me up (although I'll admit the stats above are rather dodgy!).
JoeAman08 Posted August 9, 2017 Posted August 9, 2017 Probably on possession and corners correct on there. Plenty more shots from us and they had a few.
