Jerseybean Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 Watching Man City v Everton - all MC then Rooney scores totally against the run of play. So, I was in St Helier earlier today and saw a sign in a bookies: £10 stake Everton to win 2-1 and Rooney to score the first goal collect £1,360. To add to the fun MC are down to 10 men. With 45 minutes to go I'm now wishing I'd popped in to the bookies and taken that bet!
Super Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 Not having that second yellow. Shocking decision.
Red Army 75 Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 Never a red card . Pathetic. Fair play to Rooney. 200 premiership goals
Garland-sweden Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 200 goals, amazing.Man C most of the Times' have problems with Everton. Early days but think Everton can surprise this season.

Sure you are right BBS3; I was just wishing I'd stuck the bet on when I saw it this morning, would have made the second half more interesting.
Up The City! Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 I'm quite enjoying the start to the prem this year.
shelts Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 Soo much diving from Man City ****** embarrassing

joe jordans teeth Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 The ref has had a complete shocker again
Red Army 75 Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 Another shocking sending off . Piss poor refereeing. At this rate you won't be able to make any sort of contact
Akira Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 Absolutely unbelievable sending off. Takes the ball, and gets sent off. Actually got wound up by that decision! How can the referees be so bad?! Unreal.

citywest30 Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 Everton looked like a side who needs a Bobby Reid in it to me.
Nibor Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 Whether or not he takes the ball has no bearing on it being a foul or a booking. It was the correct decision, he hit the player with his right leg before he hit the ball and his left leg after, the speed he was moving at there was a clear risk of injury so it was excessive force and a really stupid thing to do in the middle of the park under no pressure having been booked already. Aguero should be sanctioned for exaggerating too.
stephenkibby. Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 The sooner the game is turned into touch football the better. The no contact game will so much better. Bit like that tag rugby thing.
Akira Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 Nah, can't agree. From the angle I saw, he slides in, gets the ball, and aguero goes down like he's been shot. Contact is absolutely minimal, if at all. But he definitely takes the ball first, clearly.

It doesn't matter though. He doesn't even have to touch the player for it to be a bookable foul. Them's the rules.
Northern Red Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 Aguero's one of the worst cheats in the league, rarely gets called out for it either. Spent most of the game throwing himself to the floor.

stephenkibby. Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 Great, slow motion replays. Shaun Taylor would be sent off 5 times a season for competing for the ball. Yeah I know the rules have changed, but who would deny a 50/50 challenge with a city player coming away with the ball would get you off your seat?
