BCFC1512 Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 We could just sort our home form out! The way we play away we will always pick up decent results, last few seasons have proved this. But theses two fantastic results will mean nothing if we don't win Saturday! So many times we've had a cracking away result then either drawn or lost the next home. i honestly think if we can make Ashton gate a fortress then who knows what this group of players COULD achieve!!
Phileas Fogg Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 Home form isn't that bad.. 1 win 2 draws. Need a bigger sample size really.

What are you on about? Our away form has been poor over the past couple of season's and it's been our home form that has saved us.
upthebracket Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 Erm.. one loss at home since March.. A handful of wins away since the beginning of last season. Are you sure it's our home form that's let us down?..
cidered abroad Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 We are earning points away because we have scored seven goals in four away league matches. While we have improved defensively, we are still conceding some "soft" ones like Wolves third last night. But this is an organisational type of goal that we can improve on with coaching and marking at corners. At home, we need to be much more clinical in converting chances. I don't know what the stats are for goals per chance, but a 20% improvement would bring huge rewards. It can be and must be done if we are to progress from mid table.
