Beckster
Is Paterson going to be on the bench now regularly or will he reclaim his place in the starting 11 on Saturday? Thoughts....
Admin phantom Posted September 13, 2017 Admin Report Share Posted September 13, 2017 I'm guessing nothing more than squad rotation But with so many players for so few positions now, LJ certainly has a selection headache on the horizon
Selred
2 fantastic results in a row with the likes of Wright, Pack, Pato, Leko, Steele & Eliasson on the bench at some point. Very content with the depth of our squad finally.
WRERE
Yeh he'll be back on Saturday I reckon. I think a lot of it was to do with Wright at RB. We needed someone like O'Dowda to work hard to help him out, but as soon as Pisano's back we'll probably see Leko on the right with Pato on the left. Lrrr
My guess is with Wright at (Bailey W)right back then we wanted O'Dowda ahead of him for the extra defensive work CO'D does being away from home as well. Once Pisano returns or if we're at home we'd be more likely to go with an attacking edge.

Big C
Personally I think Eros should come in for Leko and Taylor should come in for Reid and then we can field numbers 1-11 like it should be

However, I would much rather see Eliasson starting ahead of Pato when Pissano is fit to resume at RB. Pato flatters to deceive for me and his floaty nothing corners are awful. Think either could be useful coming off the bench after 70 minutes or so, or the rotation of the two of those and Leko to keep them fresh with O'Dowda stepping in when we need a defensive winger could work well. I know they don't look dangerous but I get the impression they work well for Flint when they come off. That's what happened for Bobby's goal last night. Flint headed it towards goal from a Pato corner.

The corners must be an instruction, brownhill was doing the same thing last night.
