Love 'The Gate' we have now.... (except for them bright blinding advertising boards and sag match time stadium lighting .)

BUT ...That bloody 'Village Green' nonsense still pi$$es me off.

What could've been, the 'so near yet so far' would've been, could've been, should've been..  stadium plans from around the World...

(forget UWE, 'pipe dreams' dont count)

Good company we're keeping in that.

Like that they think the Gate was already 30k ...

Got to say, maybe it's just a few bad pics I've seen of Ashton Vale, but I much prefer the look of the rebuilt Ashton Gate...

Now looking back, I don't like the design of it at all! It looks plastic and soulless.

I think revamping Ashton Gate was one of best decisions ever made! Fantastic facilities and we can really call it 'our own'

Good finding this Whistlehappy. That is as close as we'll ever be to Barcelona (we are the next one in the list after the blaugrana, if you haven't read the article). Unless you count the Barcelona of the Fifth Division.

Very glad we stayed where we are

Anyone who has been to MK for example will know what a crap match day experience that is - no decent pubs around pre match etc. We ended up in a Frankie and Benny’s

Great to still have al the usual pubs within a stones throw of AG

We are so lucky that Vale never happened we stayed at our home with a great new stadium - apart from the restriction of capacity to 27k. Not big enough for Europa Cup semi final against Milan in 3 years.
