Best team performance of the season so far! Showed some form in the pre-season but this match gives us a better indication of the state of the team. The Gaffer effectively said we are in the lower part of WSL1 - that is, the rest of the division after the rich clubs are left to grab the honours. Keeping out of the drop zone (such as it is) is a target in reach and we should be able to climb higher. Lots of good work by the girls today.

Next up, away to Spurs in the Conti Cup this Thursday and the next league game is at home to Reading on 28th.
