Red Army 75 Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 It's an iconic fixture in English football. And looking forward to watching it . Sky over do there coverage on it which is quite annoying. But with no Bristol City today. This hopefully will be a good game to watch. Don't care who wins but hoping for some incidents. Probably be a crap 0-0

One BCFC Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 It is most definitely a case of who do I dislike less. And in this instance it's Liverpool so come on them.
Maltshoveller Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 Classic Jose Spends hundreds of millions on the team Only tactic he knows against big team = Park the Bus I have no problem with teams like Burton doing it but with that much money spent you would want a team to give it a go Cue 1 nil man utd!!!!!

Liverpool should be 2 up. And Man U nearly score . Spot on
EmersonsRed Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 Can't believe the delusion amongst football fans that think this United side can win the league. They've faced what? 2 top 10 sides so far this season? No chance they have enough quality to get more points than City after 38 games.
Esmond Million's Bung Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 Referee very weak, Salah should have been booked for a dive and Lukaku booked for his challenge, the tangle with Loveren is a little less clear but he needs to calm down that's for sure and strangely a couple of off the ball challenges on Young went unpunished and one given the opposite way.

One Team In Keynsham Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 This seems to be that commonly occurring game that Liverpool should win but will likely lose. Cue a winner from Sturridge or the goal-machine Ox
ZiderEyed Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 Gotta love a team who sits this deep. Pathetic.
lenred Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 Diabolical game, really really poor. Atmosphere has been dreadful as well for such a big game.

Esmond Million's Bung Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 Just a thought here, perhaps there is a reason why Manu are 7 points ahead of Liverpool, like Liverpool draw too many games. Best part of the game Darmian the worst player on the field by a country mile goes in with a high boot (definite free kick) and kicks his own player in the head, a Liverpool who was not touched goes down holding his head, some people just have no shame.
Esmond Million's Bung Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 I can't wait for Rio Ferdinand's first pro boxing fight, he does realise it's a contact sport?. "And Rio Ferdinand enters the rings his foot brushes the middle rope, oh and he's down, he's up after treatment and touches gloves with his opponent and he's down again, up again after treatment and the bell rings for round one and the loud noise of the bell makes Rio hit the canvas again".

Was that Lovren after he took Lukaku's heel to his face?

BCFCGav Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 Couple of hours I'll never get back. Jose not really showing the winners mentality associated with the 'best club in England'...
Super Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 Knew looking at United team they came for a 0-0. Still Jose will be classed as a genius.
And Its Smith Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 Good management by Jose to get a point.

Luxo Jr. Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 8 minutes ago, RedDave said: Good management by Jose to get a point. Really? They have a good enough attack to break down Liverpool's shaky defence, but in the second half they didn't even try. Lukaku barely got a sniff and Liverpool would have nicked it had it not been for De Gea. I'd say it was pretty even, as Liverpool's defence has to be commended for silencing the United attack.

BRISTOL86 Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 Anyone catch Dortmund v Leipzig? An absolute thriller and poles apart from the 'spectacle' that was served up in Liverpool.

He also managed to lose 3-0 at home to Liverpool (the only time United have lost to Liverpool at Old Trafford this decade). It's absurd how poor Moyes was for them, he shouldn't really be mentioned in the same sentence as someone like Mourinho. Except when I just did it

Except when I just did it Moyes was given a poor side in my view who were not going to win the league without fergie and fergie knew this too. He did not have a chance and they messed his career up. Horrid club. Mourinho hasn't done that well at all
chinapig Posted October 15, 2017 Posted October 15, 2017 Nice description of Utd's formation from Barney Ronay on the Guardian site this morning as 4 -5 - [green space] -1.
054123 Posted October 15, 2017 Posted October 15, 2017 Wonderful journalism on 5 live yesterday, the presenter almost rhetorically asking a former utd and Liverpool player "is this the biggest game" in English football? I wish someone would have replied "if you keep telling me it is then I guess so" They've become self fulfilling prophecies rather like the pram itself. Souness called them institutions yesterday and I thought, no there just football clubs. What struck me was how they've now positioned themselves like giant American banks that when shit hits the fan, they will be crying that "they're too big to fail" or go do down in this instance. I have little time for either club or the cities they represent, which almost strike me almost as charity cases by the amount of attention and investment they feel they are owed. Really hope channel 4 come to Bristol out of recognition of decades of independent creativity, rather than five live going to Manchester to keep them happy.
Garland-sweden Posted October 15, 2017 Posted October 15, 2017 Mourinho way of playing football dont like. Defensive defensive defensive and defensive. Real he got sacked, Chelsea sacked. Many say he is a genious, dont agreed. Park the bus in London, Liverpool or whatever not so difficault. MU not my team and there manager, he he. He is like an arrogant child.
