Surprised to have not got even an acknowledgement from Downsy, BCFC, Jon or Steve Lansdown after asking about some kind of applause or something to be asked for at the game.

Would have been a nice touch to show some class and respect beyond footballing rivalry.

Do you honestly think, rovers will have a minutes applause when lansdown passes?

Jon did tweet his son offering his condolences, as did LJ and Scotty.

Didn't know he was ill, was it sudden ?

Long illness; no more details given here:- http://www.itv.com/news/westcountry/update/2017-10-21/former-rovers-chairman-geoff-dunford-dies/

Far too young anyway; always sad to see anybody pass away especially taken early and who gave a lot to Bristol Rovers along with his father.

Does that matter? That would be up to Rovers. Personally think it would be a great touch.

No idea, and certainly not in a hurry to find out either.
Personally think that mutual respect in death despite lifetime rivalries is a laudable human trait so why not?

Hope public acknowledgement and condolences for Mr Dunford are made at the Palace game Tuesday, and respected by all.

I don’t care what they do to be honest. Just thought it would be a simple and classy gesture to show respect beyond rivalry but not even an acknowledgement from anyone I tweeted.
