Would have been a profit if we had got the addons from the Kodjia deal, which I think paid for Nathan Baker.

Anyway, we have an owner who can support such a loss if neccessary.

The Sags accounts may be a more amusing read though.

It's the cost of tent pegs that makes them look bad :(

Wow 33% increase in turnover in our first year in redeveloped Ashton gate is good and that will only increase with more success on the pitch.

really do hope we reach the promised land as if we hold our own or not the parachute payments of 90m over 3 years would really help establish us as a strong club

Its a 50% increase not 33%.

That's a MAJOR improvement. A major one.

All but takes us out of the FFP danger zone for this period. It's losses  accumulated, stacked up over 3 years and the total allowable losses from 2015-16 to 2017-18 periods is £39m.

We lost £3m in the 2nd year- can't remember what we lost in the first but it seems we're all okay.   I think we lost about £13.2m in 2015/16.

This means that without fear of issues for this season, we could lose up to £22m- sure the club has no intention of losing cash but we seem to have a fair bit of leeway now.

impressive growth in key metrics but still burning cash.

Without doing that promotion doesn't happen; in the prem the cash pours in and a sight more than £3m.

how do we get hold of the blue few real numbers; they must be fascinating and worth posting around the Charity shops of north Bristol

Freely available and extensively discussed on the rovers dustbin thread.

This is the main company with the downloads of accounts and THAT charge of £10m against the Memorial Ground.

I've corrected for you.

As to the post... just where does FFP come into all of this e.g. City have this loss but decides to gamble and splash out during the transfer window, what could be spent?
