To me looked a lot like the Brentford midfielder Ryan Woods, and he is prem bound. 

I thought that as well. He was someone I really hoped we would be in for this transfer window, but would’ve been a big fee. 

Potentially have a very similar player for about a tenth of the money.

Will he start against Norwich? Don't think I'd want to drop either Smith or Pack in favour of Walsh.

But he looked to fit in, seemed composed and yes the comparisons to Woods are high praise indeed.  Just the sort of player that will strengthen our team in the here and now and hopefully, given his age, for many years to come.
