The problem with The Pillars was that whilst it all made sense and was perfectly logical, it was just a bit of a distraction as "a thing" and it kept being banged on and on and on about ad nauseum. Probably a great example of a PR disaster when in actual fact it just needs to be dressed up slightly differently to be a lot more palatable. My favourite was the one out of El Dorado, BTW.
