Flagon
So the VAR system has made history today by awarding Leicester’s 2nd goal after initially being ruled out for offside. What goals ruled out for us can you think of?

myol'man
I'd like to have another look at the Brighton penalty at the Millennium stadium
Davefevs
Freddie Sears against us / for us, depending on which way you look at it. Can any of you older ones remember Clive Allen’s goal that hit the back stantion (spelling?) - that wasn’t given either.

We were given a goal kick rather than a free kick outside the box. Additionally, if it was offside the linesman would've stood in line with the infringement - not on the corner flag still tracking play. Sears certainly wasn't offside, but not sure about the guy who flicked it on.

You’re spot on though. Started with a goal kick, no offside flag. Clearly a catastrophic error by the officials.

Don't mind getting grief for being right Got a feeling the 'offside' suggestion came from Gary Johnson in his post-match interview. All confirming a goal kick was given. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/eng_div_1/8194875.stm http://bleacherreport.com/articles/236912-freddie-sears-vs-bristol-city-the-goal-that-never-was http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/bristol-city/6035363/Bristol-City-v-Crystal-Palace-referee-blunder-five-other-clear-cut-mistakes.html http://www.skysports.com/football/bristol-c-vs-c-palace/106011 https://www.theguardian.com/football/2009/aug/15/crystal-palace-neil-warnock-freddie-sears
Lanterne Rouge
Wasn`t there a Reading goal given a few years back that actually missed, hit the stanchion at the back of the goal and bounced back?
