where's the joy Posted February 25, 2018 Report Share Posted February 25, 2018 if we looked at the games we have lost this season to 'late' winners it seems clear that we have a problem closing games out. this is down to concentration, substitutions, tactics, luck and fitness. the manager can only effect substitutions at the end of a game and we seem to have been rubbish at it most of the campaign. anyone got some sound advice for our LJ ? coz we are throwing our promotion race away right now and for 80 minutes we are as good as any team in the division. this is not a moan at LJ its seeking constructive support for our manager while he continues his on the job learning. If you look at goals scored in our games from 80th min onwards that have changed the number of points we would have gained, i.e important goals, we have scored 7 and conceded 6.
