What about the hoardes from Bristol who went to Manchester on a Midweek evening in January. One can judge our appetite for top flight football by the away attendance tomorrow

What about the missing thousands from the Jpt final a few years ago..
why are they not making the effort....disgraceful

So we're comparing the first semi final in what, 20 years , away to the best team in the country to Barnsley?  Yep , exactly the same.

We can, if we choose! Or, one can opt to judge our appetite for 90 minutes of footbal at, er, Barnsley. Based on a game at.....Barnsley.

Now updated to 660 sold

Do Premier games really affect our away following?

Maybe not,

but at least it give some of those who normally attend top flight football matches,

to watch and travel to see their local team.

Bristol Rugby NOT in action

No grand National and no boat face.

What more encouragement would a Bristol City follower need to visit Yorkshire.

You could even make a trip to the last of the summer wine country at Holmfirth

Nothing I'd love more than to see us in the top flight.

Not going tomorrow.

What's your point?

730 sold so far, pretty decent numbers that, hopefully it will be 730 happy city fans by 5pm tomorrow

Our away support is upgrading, from "piss poor," to a mere "poor." Carry on like this and who knows what we'll be? Piss average?

well, that's that then; no-one seems to have good sporting reasons why not to go, so let's see it, and hear it, for the boys!

Bobby will love scoring in our end to seal the points, just as T&T (Tammy and Tomlin) did last season

Didn't they score later on to make it 2-2?

Anything north of Birmingham is 'poor' I'd agree, anything in Birmingham or London is good though, Millwall for example is already over 1.5k and it only went on general sale yesterday...

Interesting - I'm going tomorrow but didn't go to Manchester. Maybe that just makes me odd.

They did, in injury time iirc.

However Tammy and Fats did score in front of our fans in the second half after we came from 1-0 down to go 2-1 up.

It amazes me how many of our own fans use this as a stick to beat us with. Do people really not see the difference  between a League Cup Semi Final against one of the best teams in Europe at a ground we’ve never visited.....and Barnsley.

Well done to all those going.

No one has good reasons to go? What about those with families, on a bank holiday after a long old poke from Christmas?

I can't tell if you're on the wind up, or not?

Not forgetting 10-15k of our core support have just stumped up for season tickets. Also, some just can’t be arsed, and that’s fine.
