here's an idea

send LJ on loan to a lower league club to learn more about the man's game. pay some of his wages and send Tinman to see how he's getting on from time to time. NB not Cheltenham, possibly Torquay or Plymouth.

meanwhile appoint no one.

let the players pick themselves and agree the week to week formation. invite the players to rotate the media duties according to the number on their shirt. starting with Frankie.

we would save a bit of money, the players could only blame themselves rather than being blamed by their manager...cutting out the middleman

and never sign anyone in january ever 'cos we are hopeless at it.

oh and give that nice mr Guardiola a ring and ask him to lend us some the players he promised after our performance up at the Etihad. he can choose them as I've got a hunch he would make better choices than us. ideally a player or 2 who likes to shoot at goal because we are not very good at that either
